Curatorial tours by a Geoffrey Bawa Trust curator can be arranged by prior appointment (subject to availability).
Private Curator's Tour rate: USD 1500 nett per tour, for a maximum of twenty people. At the discretion of the Trust, a larger group than 20 may be accommodated at an additional charge of USD 50/pax per head.
Private tours by our trained in-house tour guides can be arranged by prior appointment (subject to availability).
Private Guided Tour rate: USD 50 nett per person, for a maximum of ten people. Includes refreshments at the end of the tour (tea/coffee with cookies and cake).
Tours by third parties are strictly not permitted.
Photography
Personal photography is allowed without the use of flash or tripods in the outdoor spaces; publication or commercial use of photographs is only permissible if expressed approval has been obtained from the Geoffrey Bawa Trust. Please contact media@geoffreybawa.org to request permission.
Accessibility
We welcome visitors with disabilities but there are steps, steep inclines and uneven surfaces throughout so not every part of the garden will be accessible to all. There are very few handrails on the property. Please let us know about any special requirements in advance and we’ll try to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.

Number 11 may only be visited by joining one of the Trust's guided tours, available at the times listed below.
Please note that to preserve the premises for future generations and help conserve our collections, tour numbers are limited in size and tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Kindly note that if the Guest Suite is occupied by overnight visitors, it will not be shown during the tour. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience.

Private Tours
Private tours by Trust curators can be arranged by prior appointment, subject to availability of staff, for a fee of LKR 80,000/- per tour, for a maximum of 4 people, LKR 10,000/- for any additional people, up to 20 max.
Tours by third parties are strictly not permitted.

Personal photography is allowed without the use of flash or tripods of the entrance, hallway, office, guest suite and terrace; publication or commercial use of photographs is only permissible if expressed approval has been obtained from the Geoffrey Bawa Trust. De Saram House

The De Saram House may only be visited by joining a guided tour arranged by prior appointment.
Please note that the tour will only include the front and rear courtyards and dining space, as we cannot grant access to the living spaces where occupied by in-house guests. The music room is not accessible during the tour.
