The Geoffrey Bawa Trust Youth Advisory Board (YAB) is an accessibility-driven initiative that began in 2023 as part of the To Lunuganga programme. Between 2023 and 2024, six members provided their unique perspectives to the work of the Trust and developed ways to connect with and engage a wider audience of young people.

Fluid Geographies, an installation at Lunuganga by artist Reena Saini Kallat, contests the notion of human-made borders by contrasting national boundaries with the inherent connectivity of nature itself. The Youth Advisory Board rewrote the captions for each of Kallat’s work, framing their interpretations in a way that is geared towards a younger audience who may just be beginning to familiarise themselves with artistic analysis.
