Join award-winning filmmaker, architect, and academic Dr Clara Kraft Isono for a workshop on how optical technologies—from early film cameras to contemporary tools like LiDAR and 3D modeling—have transformed the way we perceive, represent, and design space.
Focusing on the interplay between narrative and spatial experience, the session examines how emerging visualization tools enable architects to move beyond static representation, using digital media to construct immersive spatial stories and rethink design processes. Participants are required to bring a mobile phone with a functioning camera.
Dr Kraft Isono’s latest project, Garden as a Cloud, on view as part of the Ways of Knowing exhibition from August 2nd, 2025.
Admission is free, but spaces are limited.
