Geoffrey Bawa’s architectural practice not only involved designing spaces but also customising typography for certain projects such as the Bentota Beach Hotel and the Kandalama Hotel. Building on this relationship between architecture and typography, Chani will guide you in exploring type as image experiments in a knowledge exchange mixed media  workshop.

An avid lover of puns, buns, the sun and reruns, Chani loves experimenting. Whether she's designing or teaching, she approaches everything and everyone as an experiment. That way no-one gets bored. Chani is currently a tutor at the Visual Communication department and the Strategic Advisor to the BA programme at AOD. Her very own experiment Riot House, is a developing curation of her journey in graphic design, through which she collaborates, creates and educates.
