Join our Curator of Living Collections, Soham Kacker, for an evening stroll and conversation through Viharamahadevi Park.
Throughout the walk, Soham will introduce participants to the botanical, historical, and cultural stories of many of the species at home in Viharamahadevi Park. Bringing new perspectives on how we see and understand the Park’s flora, the walk pays tribute to the common trees and plants often overlooked or taken for granted in our busy urban lives.
Meeting point: Viharamahadevi Park Buddha Statue by 4.50pm
This walk is part of our Ways of Knowing exhibition currently on show at the Bawa Space in Colombo. Through the lens of Geoffrey Bawa’s Lunuganga garden, Ways of Knowing uses different sensory experiences to look at how we learn, store, and share information.
