This month’s Saturday activity for children will look at the practice of making and breaking secret codes.
Inspired by the ongoing Akurugraphy exhibition at the Bawa Space, this event will look at how letters and numbers can be used to create secret meanings and messages. The event will include a “kid-friendly” glimpse at parts of the exhibition.
Children are invited to play with and manipulate the letters, explore the meanings of words, and have fun.
The tour and activity will run for approximately one hour, and drinks and snacks will be provided. The activity is designed for primary school-aged children with a parent, guardian, or carer. Younger and older siblings are welcome.
