Join Sierra Bainbridge, founder and Senior Principal for Landscape Architecture at Model of Architecture Serving Society (MASS), for an online discussion on how cross-disciplinary partnerships, community-centered approaches, and regenerative strategies can contribute towards a more equitable and healthy world.
Sierra invites the audience to reimagine design through the lens of regeneration, interdependence, and radical hope. As co-editor of “Seeking Abundance: Design, Ecology and a Flourishing Planet”, Sierra’s presentation will share insights from the book and examine how we can minimise environmental damage caused by the building and infrastructure industries.
Blending landscape, architecture, ecology, and regional planning, Sierra uses cross-disciplinary design and metrics to address climate change and foster abundance for all species. Her work has earned AIA, ASLA, COTE, and Cooper Hewitt National Design Awards for excellence, research, and sustainability.
This talk is part of the Geoffrey Bawa Moonamal Award Knowledge Series to share research and best practices on designing for humans and nature.
